Aventura Adds General Grant to Focus on Strategic Initiatives
Mr. Grant to Drive Corporate Vision through Execution as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
Denver, CO – June 27, 2012 – Aventura, the company that makes clinicians’ work flow, today announced the addition of Mr. General Grant to the Strategic Initiatives team. With an extensive background in end-to-end corporate strategy planning and development, and a proven ability to drive corporate vision through to execution, Mr. Grant will take on a new role as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. He will focus on strengthening Aventura’s promise of improving hospital outcomes with healthcare IT by growing the company’s corporate strategy and business development areas.
Mr. Grant joins Aventura from Siemens Medical Solutions, USA where he led various strategic initiatives including Soarian Information Access, an end-user computing, enterprise single sign on (SSO) and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution. Prior to Siemens, Mr. Grant was the Chief Technology Officer for Motors Insurance Corporation, a General Motors Acceptance Corporation company, and its subsidiary companies within the insurance sector. Mr. Grant managed technology integration in complex, large-scale systems environments and managed enterprise infrastructure architecture, infrastructure delivery, and vendor management. Additional technology leadership positions include Vice President of Technology for Hawk Holdings, and co-founder and Vice President of Operations for Global Solutions and Technologies, Inc., a diversified product and services company that serviced companies in healthcare, professional sports, telecommunications, chemical, retail and other industries with specialty manufacturing, product design and 3D visualization, managed collocation and internet solutions, and software development services.
